Worship
Worship is central to the life of HPUMC. Though much of Christian faith is a personal matter between us and God, coming together with other Christians to praise God and share with each other is vital to sustain us in the midst of the challenges that come our way. We love to worship, learn and pray together. We trust that God is present with us and in us during these special times each week.
The 10:00 a.m. Sunday online worship service is live from our large worship center. It offers some elements of a more formal experience with organ and our praise band. You will find leadership of this service to be open, inviting and encouraging. The music we share together is a mix of traditional and contemporary.
Communion
We celebrate the Lord’s Supper on the first Sunday of the month during the 10:00 am worship service. Everyone is invited the share this gift of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, regardless of membership in the church.
Online participants should have bread or crackers available and grape juice, if possible. If grape juice isn’t available, simply use water. Remember, water was the means of many miracles of Jesus.
What to expect
We have our 10 am Sunday worship service in-person and on Facebook live. Services last about an hour.
We share Holy Communion on the first Sunday of each month. The Methodist Church has an open communion tradition in which anyone who seeks to be in a relationship with God is welcome at the table, but if you’d rather not receive communion, that’s OK.
Come as you are.
Enjoy the time you spend with us.
