We are committed to educating, encouraging and protecting the youngest members of our church family. A variety of children's activities are available including:
- Nursery Care: The most basic of our children's ministries is nursery care, which is provided during worship services, Sunday School and many church events.
- Sunday School Classes: These small groups are for children age 3 and up offer opportunities to learn about God and the lessons of the Bible through music, stories, crafts and games. Promotion Sunday is the last Sunday in August and children advance to their new classes on the first Sunday in September. Education Sunday is the last Sunday in September.

Friday Fun Night: This special event welcomes neighborhood children for a wide variety of activities. Friday Fun Night is an opportunity for our church to connect with other children in the community and the church provides them fun activities three Fridays a month. This program is currently sponsored by two grants. One grant is from the General Board of Global Ministries and the second is from the Bishop's Initiative on Poverty and Children. All activities are FREE to the children. Activities are scheduled during the school year and happen on the second, third and fourth Fridays of the month.

- Watch for other special children's events related to holidays and Vacation Bible School which is held in June each year.
All teachers who lead our programs for children, youth and individuals with disabilities have completed the "Instructor Training for Safe and Sacred Spaces". This training is done by a Kansas East Conference certified trainer, and includes background checks and applications.
