Highland Park United Methodist Church provides many opportunities for adults to interact and socialize with other members. Here are a few examples:

Dinner Groups: These groups meet at different restaurants on the first Friday of each month from September to May. The groups are represented by different combinations of people each month. Join us for an evening of fun, fellowship and good food.
"Solos" meets regularly for a covered dish dinner
- All Church Picnic and Worship Service: This annual event is held at Gage Park Shelterhouse, usually in October.
- Annual Women's Retreat: A weekend getaway for women providing opportunity for inspiration and fun.
- Quilters Group: The quilters love to quilt and meet one day a week for fellowship, fun, and quilting.
- Cross-Stitch Group: Come join out counted cross-stitch group! We bring our own projects and if you need help, someone can assist you. We have fun and enjoy great fellowship with other stitchers. We meet Thursdays, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
