Welcome to the website of Highland Park United Methodist Church (HPUMC). Our geographical service area is greater southeast Topeka and Shawnee County although we have members who actively participate from as far away as Silver Lake, Perry, and Auburn Road!
HPUMC is a friendly church - active in many church, community and mission events. The people of HPUMC welcome visitors and new members with Open Hearts, Open Minds, and Open Doors. Sunflower Lions Club of Topeka and Highland Park United Methodist Church are joining to offer
- Free visual screening
- Free hearing testing
- Free blood sugar testing
- Free blood pressure checks
- Free additional health information
on Sunday, November 15, 2009 from noon until 5 p.m. in front of Highland Park United Methodist Church at 29th & Michigan in Topeka in the new Kansas Lions Club mobile screening unit. The church will also be hosting a harvest dinner for the general public from noon to 2 p.m. - Turkey, veggies, stuffing, cranberries and desserts, for a free will offering. Everyone is welcome for this free screening!
